Building Neighborhoods Together (BNT) is honored to announce the receipt of the Sharon Kane Klammer Honorary Grant of $2,500 from Near & Far Aid. This unexpected and generous award underscores our shared commitment to eliminating poverty in Fairfield County.
Near & Far Aid, an all-volunteer organization, is dedicated to eradicating the causes and effects of poverty by funding programs that provide life’s basic necessities and foster lasting change. In a statement from Joanne Mason and Emily Gordon, Co-Presidents of Near & Far Aid, they noted: “We are proud to support BNT’s mission of creating safe, affordable housing and offering free housing and financial counseling services to low- and moderate-income families across Connecticut. This grant reflects our belief in the transformative impact of their work.”
