BNT’S 6th Annual Masquerade Ball

Secret agents, international spies and mystery women all gathered at Bridgeport’s historic Arcade Mall Friday night for Building Neighborhoods Together’s Masquerade Ball. Over 150 guests dressed to impress for the Casino Royale themed event. They succeeded in raising over $65,000 from the contributions made.

Guests enjoyed the live sounds of G-Nice and the Family Affair band featuring DJ Grove. There were classic casino games, using BNT bucks, such as Black Jack, Roulette and even Wheel of Fortune.

Attorney Karen Miller was the grand prize winner, winning a 3 day, 2-night stay in Las Vegas. There were also prizes for the best-dressed man, woman and couple. Inside the arcade was an interactive photo booth from The Absolutely Fabulous Photo Booth company and the artistic masquerade creations of Alicia Cob of Art Simplicated.

BNT honored their own Beverly Hoppie, Director of Education & Community Engagement, with the BNT Community Building with Grace Award. BNT Chief Executive Director Elizabeth Torres was awarded the first ever Elizabeth Torres Outstanding LeadershipAward.

All proceeds support BNT’s mission to LEAD, EMPOWER and CHANGE Bridgeport neighborhoods. The event was sponsored by Haynes Construction, Intercontinental Capital Group, MGM Bridgeport, Schadler Selnau Associates and many more.
