Families Gathered For Some Frightening Good Fun

On Friday, October 27th, Building Neighborhoods Together (BNT) treated its residents and community partners for an afternoon of fall fun.

The residents and their families flooded into Milestone Apartments for BNT’s Halloween trunk-or-treat event where staff and community partners decorated their cars in Spook-tacular Halloween fashion. The cars served as trick or treat pit stops where kids filled their goodie bags with sweet treats. Families enjoyed Halloween themed music, face painting, and festive games.

BNT’s Milestone Apartments complex is a mixed-use, three-story development that also includes an Early Childhood Education Center on the ground floor. Above the education center are 30 affordable one bedroom apartments with 10 units set aside for veterans.

This event was sponsored by BNT’s Property Management and Empowerment Resource Academy as part of their new Resident Empowerment and Engagement Initiative. BNT invited social service partners Operation Hope and the Connection as well the families of the Early Childhood Center to take part in this event.
