Rental Assistance Available Due to COVID-19

Can’t pay your rent and you’re worried you might be evicted? BNT may be able to help you.
BNT has been chosen by the State of Connecticut to be an administrator of its Temporary Rental Housing Assistance Program (TRHAP). TRHAP offers to assist renters pay their rent up to $1,000/month (up to $4,000), in order to help them avoid eviction. They must be able to meet various COVID-19 and other eligibility requirements.

If you feel you are eligible, you should apply ASAP. There are limited funds available and it’s going fast! If you apply, tell them you would like to work with Building Neighborhoods Together as the agency. You have a choice, we provide free advice and we’re very ready to help you.
